Just three months after her international debut, Agyemang played a dramatic and decisive role in England's run to European Championship victory.

She was introduced as a substitute to score crucial late equalisers in both the last eight and last four matches.

Agyemang's stunning interventions led to her being named the tournament's top young talent.

Subsequently, she was awarded the Golden Girl trophy for the top young European talent.

She was also nominated for the Kopa Trophy for the world's best under-21 female player.

Agyemang, who has been playing for Brighton on loan from Arsenal, sustained a serious knee injury in October.

"To be named a finalist for this honour is incredible," said Agyemang. "Thank you to God and I'm appreciative of the support I've received from my loved ones, mentors, colleagues and supporters."

Littler's 2025 began in spectacular fashion as - aged 17 - he became the most youthful world title winner in history.

He secured a comprehensive triumph over Michael van Gerwen in the final.

His follow-up triumph at the World Matchplay made him only the fifth competitor to complete the prestigious PDC Triple Crown.

His success continued - his triumph in November's Grand Slam of Darts meant he ascended to world number one for the first time.

At 18, he is the youngest man to do so, breaking the previous record.

"To receive a nomination for the honour once more is a big honour," stated Littler. "My victory in 2024 was a proud moment for me and I've had another unbelievable 12 months. I want to continue promoting darts."

Perrin finished second in the run-scoring charts and was named the Professional Cricketers' Association's top young women's player.

"I'm incredibly grateful to be named a finalist for the young athlete award," expressed Perrin. "This is phenomenal. I hope it inspires more young females to get into cricket."
