Spurs fans who booed goalkeeper Vicario were informed afterwards "they can't be real Tottenham supporters" by boss Thomas Frank.

Spurs let in two scores in the first initial moments to lose 2-1 to their opponents, marking their 10th Premier League at home defeat of the year.

However the main topic of discussion was Fulham's next goal when the keeper gave away the ball far beyond his area.

Seconds afterwards when the ball went to Vicario again, a number of Tottenham supporters booed him.

The team were jeered off at half-time, with the side 2-0 behind, and again at the final whistle.

A particular of those booing episodes truly irritated Frank.

"I heard some of our fans reportedly booed the situation and jeered after, which, in my view is totally unacceptable," the Danish manager stated regarding the fans' reaction to his goalkeeper.

"Those individuals can't be true Spurs fans that act that way. Alright jeering following the match, no problem, but when we are in play, we are supporting one another, we are behind one another going forward."

Kenny Tete had given the visitors a fourth-minute advantage before Harry Wilson's goal – with Kudus scoring for Spurs in an better second period performance.

Former Premier League goalkeeper Joe Hart remarked that the second score was "totally preventable".

"I certainly understand the supporters' frustration," Hart added. "I am aware the part Vicario is performing. He's a excellent squad member, he's a true leader in the dressing room but ultimately you are going to be judged by your decisions.

This was their tenth home defeat of 2025 in the league, a shared club record along with 1994 and two thousand and three.
