Iran Reports Attack on American Facility in the Kingdom of Bahrain, As Part of Regional Counterattacks.
Iran's military claims to have hit a American military facility in Bahrain, as Iran launched operations throughout the Middle East in response for a "massive" and continuing attack targeting the nation by the United States and Israeli forces.
Huge plumes of black smoke were seen rising from an zone in the area of the command center of the American Fifth Fleet in Bahrain's capital, Manama. The full scale of any damage is uncertain and the American officials has yet to issue a statement.
Regional Interceptions
Elsewhere across the region, the UAE, Qatar and the State of Kuwait - which all house American military installations - reported they have engaged and destroyed incoming projectiles in their airspace.
In the Qatari capital, the Qatari Ministry of Defence said it had intercepted a number of projectiles seemingly aimed at the Al Udeid Air Base, the biggest US military installation in the region.
IRGC Statement
Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) declared it was striking American facilities and interests as part of military campaign "Truthful Promise 4", in retaliation for the strikes on the Islamic Republic carried out by the United States and its ally Israel on Saturday.
That US-Israeli operation - executed at approximately 09:15 Iran time - has so far targeted areas linked to the Tehran's leadership, with US President Donald Trump encouraging the people of Iran to rise up against the regime.

In the State of Israel, air raid sirens sounded nationwide after the Israeli military said it had detected an incoming Iranian missile barrage.
The Ministry of Defence of the United Arab Emirates stated that the nation has been subjected to a "a blatant attack involving Iranian ballistic missiles".
"Emirati air defenses engaged the projectiles with high efficiency and successfully intercepted a series of missiles," the statement continued.
Officials reported wreckage fell on a populated district in the capital, causing some structural damage and killing a civilian.
The United States Air Force operates from the Al Dhafra base, south of Abu Dhabi, along with the Emirati Air Force.
